Welcome to Georgian England where fine ladies and gentlemen travel to and from their stately homes in horse-drawn carriages. Beyond the stately concert halls and parks lives a young, orphaned boy with a mysterious past and an extraordinary talent: he sings like an angel, but refuses to speak. The great composer, George Frederic Handel and the diva soprano, Mme. Cuzzoni are drawn together by the  haunting voice of the boy, and through their kindness, and the power and majesty of Handel’s music, Thomas’ heart is finally healed. “Halleluja Handel” features Sam Piatt, captivating star of the SWSS’s 2016 production of “Amahl and the Night Visitors”.

The SWSS presents a feast of popular selections from Leonard Bernstein’s musical compositions. The Symphonic Dances and Concert Suite from West Side Story will feature all of the great hits from this brilliant work, including two vocal soloists and a guest appearance by leading soloists from The Milwaukee Ballet in the roles of “Tony” and Maria”. Spectacular vocal selections from Candide, Mass, On the Town, Peter Pan and Wonderful Town will be presented in a semi-staged performance that will pay homage to one of America’s most gifted composers!
